Mapping lakes is a System of breaking a lake down to find larger Bass and catching more Bass each time you go out. You must follow my system to find these fish. There is NO Magic Bullet. I started developing this System over 50 years ago when Tournament fishing with just a paper map and geographical survey maps. This has evolved into the high tech world of Depth Finders and the GPS Contour Mapping System. You are given the biggest shortcut to learning how to do this on your home lakes. All of the Chips contain the 20 areas that will produce quality fish. Each lake has over 200 Waypoints sitting on the Hot Spots that these fish relate to. Every chip has everything done to them that we can do to provide you with a fish catching product. - Most deep water areas have the Boat Trail for your GPS Trolling Motor to follow. All areas are numbered with the Write-up to read by touching on your first WayPoint for that area on the Depth Finder. The WayPoints and Icons are dropped on all the best Irregular Features along the boat trail. Your maps are developed by looking at Paper Maps, Navionics, Lake Master, Google Earth, Geographic Survey Charts and Low Water Images. There is no doubt in my mind that you are getting the best 20 areas on the lake of your choice. If you consider taking a guided trip for the day you will get 3 or 4 direct spots. My areas are massive and you get over 200 Hot Spots which gives you the Biggest Bang For Your Buck!
These lake chips have been revised to include 20 new Spots as the limit of 20 sales have been reached on previous versions.
Belton SC2, Buchanan SC2, Conroe SC2, LBJ SC2, Ray Roberts SC3, Sam Rayburn SC3, Toledo Bend SC2, Lewisville SC2v2, Whitney SC2 and Texoma SC2!
All lakes offered are still available!
Lake O' Pines
Our chips are 20 of a kind! When we sell 20 chips per lake, we build a new chip with 20 different areas. Of course, there might be some areas that are on all versions because they are too good to pass up! This way the chance of you pulling up to a spot that is already occupied is greatly reduced!
When purchasing a lake chip, you may purchase via PayPal, Check, or Money Order. Simply fill out the Special Instructions box on the Shipping and Payment page when you purchase. Include in your instructions: Name, Phone #, Email Address, Lake Name and Make and Model of graph. Your chip will be configured and sent to you via USPS. If you need it sooner, you will be responsible for any additional shipping charges.
If you are computer/graph savvy and simply would like to have the lake file sent to you in either a .gpx or Matrix folder format so you can put it on your own SD card we can do that too!
Just state that you would prefer to do so in a email to firstname.lastname@example.org
(There will be no shipping charges for this type of order)
I'm a Texas fisherman who just bought a boat but still takes out the yaks for trips. I recently purchased a few contour chips from Mr. Don Harper and let me tell you he puts you right on some big fish! My buddies and I had great days on both the boat at yaks in all those tough to get spots that boats won't fit into. We followed along with what Mr. Harper told us how to fish the area and it was a gem. Make sure to read all the info he sends to you as for it is for a reason; he knows exactly what he's doing! Check out this Big'un we pulled out of ol' Sam Rayburn on the yaks.
I purchased a map from Mr. Harper a few weeks ago for Lake Palestine. I don't fish it often and needed help finding places to fish there. All I can say is I love Mr. Harper maps! Don's maps are by far way more detailed and informative than the ones you get on the various paid apps. He includes a full write up for each spot, exactly where to run the boat and cast, and what to cast. So it really takes out a lot of the guess work. Two weeks ago I went to Palestine using his map and detailed information about each spot. I caught 8 keepers including a couple really nice fish.
One was 6.50 lbs and the other was 4.25 lbs.
I purchased a chip for Stillhouse and the information that Donald provided has had a positive impact on my success. This was the third fish over six pounds taken this February from areas that Donald flagged as holding large fish. This one went 7lbs 2oz.
I wanted to give Mr. Harper another shout out about how well his chips work. This is another great fish from Lake Waco on one of his spots. I have the Stillhouse chip but haven't had the opportunity to use it yet but look forward to posting about it as well. Get the chip, you won't be disappointed!
Hey guys, Donald's GPS coordinates are the real deal. Caught these two piggies on Ray Roberts Yesterday after work on one of Mr. Harpers spots. I won't tell you wich one, however both were in 20ft of water on big worms. Thanks again Mr. Harper for the help in eliminating dead water with your system.
I am definitely not the best fisherman in the world. I also know it is important to research a lake before fishing it, but like most of you guys, I don't really have time. Besides that, I am no expert at knowing where the fish might be hanging out. I haven't gotten a chance to use them all yet, but I purchased 4 map cards for Mr. Harper and it has greatly improved the quality of fish I catch and my numbers! The lake I have fished most has been Joe Pool. I feel like I have been learning a lot from reading the mark ups and getting out on the water as well. These are all the biggest bass I have ever caught!
The record on Lake Whitney is 25.5" and 11.5#. I'm not going to say I beat the lake record, but this fish was LONGER than the lake record at 26 3/8" long.
Donald Harper’s GPS Contour Chips have changed my fishing dramatically as well. My fishing time is scarce (one day every 2 months if I’m lucky), and the GPS tool has allowed me to make the most out of my time on the water.
I now have the confidence to fish “offshore” and have gotten much better at utilizing my graphs.
Thanks again Mr. Harper for the knowledge and helping me to develop as a deep-water fisherman!!. If you’re a weekend warrior without the time to research and break down a lake, give Donald’s system a try. I guarantee you will be glad that you did!!
I purchased the LBJ chip from Donald Harper. My son had a high school tournament on LBJ and we had never fished that lake. The weather did not cooperate and these boys usually only fish shallow, but they managed to get these two on one of Don’s deeper spots. Don’s descriptions of each spot are thorough. I look forward to going back to LBJ when the weather is nicer and trying more of his spots.
I bought a 2 lake chip about a month ago. I’ve only used it twice, but have had great luck. This morning I fished 3 of his waypoints on one main lake point on Choke Canyon and caught 15 or so fishing by myself. Most were 3-5lbs , and I had a 7 1/2 lb kicker.
I bet 10 other boats stopped at that point while I was there and didn’t have any luck and left. There were only a couple of small spots on the point that were producing, and 2 of the 3 waypoints I hit seemed to be the ones.
My Dad and I fished Fork this past weekend. We focused on an inside bend next to a spawning area that Don had marked. These two bass came on back to back cast and were both less than an inch shy of being over the slot! Would have never focused on the area without the insight Don provided. Thanks for all you do Don!
I would like to thank Mr. Don Harper for the information he puts on here and for taking time to build his lake chips. I purchased information and chips on a couple lakes. His write-ups and chips provide detailed information on each of his spots on the lake. One area I received information on is on Choke Canyon and every spot is where we would expect fish to be, especially Big Bass. I fished one of his spots with a Carolina rig, plastic worm as he said, which is a flat grassy area next to the river channel in 5-7’. This spot is where the channel curves and at the mouth of another creek. Bass move into the shallow during different times of the day. Every time I fish this area I catch Bass and sometimes other fish that move up off the channel. If you don’t have a chip yet, please take time and consider purchasing a lake chip of your choice. It helps you focus on key areas Mr. Harper has researched. I don’t think many fisherman have the time to research details such as spawning areas, culverts, bridges, etc and Mr. Harper does this for you. You will not be disappointed.
My partner and I bought several chips from Mr. Harper. We took the time to print each waypoint map and pair it with the write up for each mapped area. We made a commitment to study the articles included and this feature I can not explain how it changed our fishing and ability to learn a new lake. The articles alone have taught both of us vast amounts. Ray Roberts was the first lake we fished together following these studies and after time in front of the computer and print outs it was go time. We built a plan, adjusted the spots when we pre-fished so we could easily move about the lake and on game day we were able to call Mr. Harper and tell him we had won our first tournament. Its a worthwhile investment.
That bag weighed in just under 18lbs, not a huge bag but we beat 23 other boats, Bass Assassins' weighed 20 to win that day on same lake.
